As I think back on the time I decided to find a Personal Trainer, I realized that I could workout OR watch what I ate but could not do both consistently together. I had had one previous experience with a trainer where I enjoyed the experience but realized there was someone out there that I would bond better with. And, I was right!!! I have been working out with Cathy for over 3 years now and still enjoy my workouts. Physically, I have had some challenges. Cathy has always been able to adjust the workouts so they were still challenging without compromising the medical conditions I was experiencing.

I have been coming to Cathy for over two years. So far, I have lost between 25 - 30 pounds, and they were very hard pounds to lose! I feel good that I am exercising on the bike, lifting weights, and doing lots of abs. What a difference a few months can make! I distinctly remember driving home from our initial session 14 weeks ago, because I had an overwhelming sense that my life would soon get better in a lot of ways. But I didn't share that feeling with anyone because I wasn't sure I would succeed! When it came to fitness and losing weight, I hadn't succeeded in the past, so I thought, "why should this be any different?"

Happily, from the beginning it was clear that this would be very different. With your expert guidance and encouragement, I made what I felt were relatively simple changes in my habits, and I began exercise and weight routines that were challenging but fun. I began to see results almost immediately: I started losing weight, and I was looking and feeling better than I had in a long time. Before long, I was fitting into clothes I hadn't worn in years! I found it hard to believe that these positive changes could be taking place while I was doing a workout routine that I truly enjoy and eating food that I like.

You've helped me realize that fitness and wellness are a process, and you've taught me how to enjoy that process.
